The Abattoir site of Anderlecht was built between 1888 and 1890 by the architect Émile Tirou. At the time, the site was dedicated to the slaughterhouse and the large cattle market.

Atelier Groot Eiland, association of reinsertion, is our partner of production. They produce their vegetables in our outdoor garden.

ECLO uses the cellar space in Cureghem to produce micro-greens and Japanese mushrooms.

Cultureghem is a social association. They organize activities and events for the (young) people of the neighborhood.

In 2015, the Foodmet, the indoor market hall, was built. A group of architects set about this project with the goal of optimizing the market’s energy use. They created a common refrigeration system for the fish and meat vendors.
