Through our project, we want people to have access to sustainable products and to connect with local producers in cities. We want to rethink current food production by bringing together technology, sustainable practices and citizens to create a unique system that works for consumers, producers and the environment.

Durable and sustainable

In our raw materials, our suppliers and our commitment.

Qualitative

In our work, our final products and our collaborations.

Integrated

socially through our collaborations and economically through our activities

Create sustainable farms integrated into existing buildings to utilize their lost resources

Our main mission is to create sustainable farms connected with existing buildings in order to use their waste energy, rainwater, CO2 and natural potential in terms of space, orientation, microclimate and sun exposure.

Reuse of materials via the "cradle-to-cradle" principle

Our farms are equipped with circular systems that have been designed to minimize waste production. They operate with limited energy input and are environmentally responsible.

In our circular approach, we integrate the "cradle-to-cradle" eco-design model. In opposition to linear production chains, this approach aims to encourage the maximum reuse of raw materials, thus excluding the notion of "waste". In fact, the waste is transformed into raw material in order to continue production without new input.

An optimal and qualitative production

With our short production chain, we are able to put ultra-fresh, sustainable, and tasty produce on the tables of urban residents and local chefs. In addition, BIGH farms create jobs, generate income and stimulate eco-entrepreneurship in the city. At our farms, we collaborate with social employers, engage with our neighbourhood and create synergies with our partners on our site.
